Source Elements Source-Connect

Time to shorten distances. Source-Connect™

Source Elements Source-Connect is a remote HD audio collaboration solution in real time.
Record, review and approve with anyone, anywhere, using the industry standard in voice, music, and sound capture.

When you can collaborate with creatives or talents around the world as if they’re in the same room, the possibilities are limitless.

Source-Connect provides professional studio access to high quality, real-time audio streaming from within your editing environment, along with Remote Transport Sync (RTS), for remote synchronization of recording sessions. To reduce the channel bandwidth requirements while maintaining low delay and high quality communications, Source-Connect uses a state-of-the-art AAC codec developed by Fraunhofer IIS. Source-Connect Pro 3.9 no longer includes the Apt-X Extended algorithm from APT.

In addition to streaming and RTS capabilities, Source-Connect also provides Contacts management and Instant Messaging features. You can add or remove contacts and edit your personal settings and profile by logging in to your account on the Source-Connect website.

Auto-Restore & Replace with the Q Manager

Source-Connect is your safety net for the unpredictable internet. With Auto-Restore, guarantee that your sessions are free from glitches, hiccups and drop-outs. Additionally, with Auto-Replace, reliably and easily swap in the original PCM audio with the compressed recording without requiring additional effort.

Crystal-clear sound, without delay.

Whether you’re sharing mono voice tracks, stereo masters, or multi-channel music and effects, count on HD audio and ultra-low latency, thanks to our Fraunhofer AAC codecs.

Remote DAWs play nice with RTS.

Sync in real-time remote performances to local tracks with Remote Transport Sync (RTS). Works with mono, stereo and surround connections. Perfect for all uses including ADR, overdubbing and review & approval. And if your talent doesn’t have a DAW, RTS pairs wonderfully with our ADR Bundle.

A world of collaborators, made local.

No matter where you are or what time zone you’re in, bring your most ambitious projects to life when you connect with our community of thousands of studios, artists, broadcasters, and educators around the globe.

Source-Connect Pro X – The original surround software IP codec.

Remote audio collaboration doesn’t stop at stereo. Whether you’re producing surround content for music, film, or broadcast, stream multichannel sessions with rock-solid picture lock and direct real-time feedback. With Source-Connect Pro X, extend channel count to 6.1 and 7.1 formats or into stereo pairs, enable multi-channel miking, and even provide solutions for Dolby™ Atmos.

Multi-Connect – Multitrack across multiple time zones.

Set up simultaneous discrete connections to multiple locations using Multi-Connect Pro. Run multiple stereo or surround channels. Great for podcasts, ensembles and group ADR.
