Feature Summary

Flexible Automatic Time and Pitch Alignment

Nothing works quite like Revoice Pro for getting tight vocal parts or ADR matched.

Revoice Pro is perfect for matching the timing of audio such as backing vocals, ADR, tuning vocals, or creating great-sounding double-tracks in an instant. And because you control the tightness of the corrections, you keep it sounding natural. What's more, tightening up stacks of vocals will take you just minutes, not hours.

Highest Quality Pitch and Time Manipulation

When you need to manually adjust audio timing or pitch, Revoice Pro's Warp functions provide simple-to-use tools for creating naturally tuned vocals, monotonic instruments, or ADR - with the right intonation. But Revoice Pro also works on instruments too.

The Most Realistic Doubler Ever

Instantly double-track vocals and create stacked harmonies. Revoice Pro's Doubler process creates incredibly natural-sounding doubles in mono or stereo.

Why use Revoice Pro?

Revoice Pro is the secret ingredient used by thousands of top producers around the world. It works with any Windows or Mac OS X DAW including Pro Tools, Cubase, Studio One, Nuendo, Logic Pro, and many more. Audio is transfered either by Revoice Pro Link plug-ins, drag and drop, copy and paste or imported audio files. In some cases we have AAX, VST and AU plugins for enhanced workflow with the main Revoice Pro software.

Revoice Pro is in a class of its own, easily and quickly doing tasks that even experienced editors consider time-consuming, difficult or downright impossible.

The workflow is fast and easy to learn and it has to be different - because there is nothing else that does what Revoice Pro can do.

What Revoice Pro Can Do For You

  • Tighten the timing, pitch and vibrato of “stacked” lead and backing vocals or instrumental tracks.
  • Create one or more realistic double tracks from a single input track.
  • Modify signal timing and pitch manually with the fastest and easy-to-use graphic interface.
  • Lip-sync dialogue (ADR) and vocals by the same or different performers, even when there are noisy guide tracks.
  • Chang the inflection in dialog (ADR, voice-overs etc.) with the desired Guide pattern provided by recording the director or dialog editor.
  • Revoice Pro accomplishes these tasks with astonishing speed, accuracy and quality, saving hours of editing.

What's new in version 3.3:

  • Major improvements to level and pitch editing - sibilants are automatically identified and instantly adjustable.
  • New processing intensity display - showing the amount of editing the APT and Warp processes apply to the signal.
  • Selection-based processing in Logic Pro 10.3 - new workflow transfers audio instantly to Revoice Pro.
  • High speed, automated workflow for Studio One 3.3.4 - copy and paste multiple tracks into Revoice Pro, automatically process, and return audio to Studio One in two clicks.
  • Further improvements in workflow and audio processing quality

Audio Performance Transfer (APT)

The APT Process transfers user-selected timing, pitch and level characteristics of a good "Guide" audio signal to one or more audio signals - automatically.
-For creating tight vocals or instruments, dialog replacement and modifying voice inflection

Applications for the APT process include:

  • Vocal and instrumental double tracks: Automatically creating adjustably "tight" double (or multiple) tracks from multiple takes
  • Dialog replacement: Modify the timing and pitch of one actor's takes to match another take or even a different actor
  • Fix corrupted live vocal recordings: Replace and syncing problematic vocals with clean retakes
  • Voice-overs: Change the vocal inflection using an audio example created by director or editor.
  • Transfer a performance: Use a one vocalists performance to modify another vocalist's performance

Process Details

revoice apt step 2

revoice apt step 3

Step 1

The APT process will capture the features (timing, pitch, vibrato and level) of the Guide audio signal with a good performance and the "Dub" signal that is to be modified.

Step 2

The user can easily adjust controls including the "tightness" of selected features to transfer from the Guide to the Dub.

Step 3

The APT process transfers the selected features to the "Dub" signal and creates a new version of the Dub with the selected performance features of the Guide.

More details

  • The APT process incorporates an improved version of Synchro Arts' VocALign time alignment technology, so the Guide features can be precisely imposed at the matching points of the Dub.
  • User-inserted "Protected Regions" prevent sections of the Dub signal from being altered in time and/or pitch.
  • The timing, pitch, and level measurements can be further manually adjusted if required.
  • "Process-based" audition features provides efficient comparison of before and after processing of one or two signals.
  • A comprehensive Preset system allows saving and reusing settings
  • The new pitch and timing Warp processes allows "in-place" preparation of APT Guide audio
  • Multiple Dubs can be processed at the same time using the same Guide audio

The Doubler instantly creates natural-sounding mono and stereo double tracks
- For vocals and instruments

Applications for Doubler

  • Creating realistic mono and stereo double tracks from vocal or instrument recording when no double track is available.
  • Create a wide range of special modulation effects

Doubler Process Details

  • Inputs can be mono or stereo signals.
  • Doubler automatically creates natural-sounding mono or stereo double tracks in seconds.
  • Provides controls for modifying timing variations, formants, and vibrato.
  • Supports extreme parameter variations to create special effects.
  • Comprehensive user Preset system

NEW - Warp Processes: Manually adjust Timing, Pitch and Level
- Simple, fast adjustments with maximum quality- for voice and monophonic instruments

Applications for Warp processes

  • Improving or altering the pitch and/or timing of tracks that will be used as Guide tracks in APT processes.
  • Correcting or altering the pitch of a harmony track before using it as a Dub input to an APT process that will have only its timing aligned to the Guide. The output of this APT process can then become a harmony Guide track for automatically aligning the time and pitch of double tracks of this harmony part.
  • Manually adjusting the pitch and time of a solo vocal or any voice recording that is not being used with any other vocal track.
  • If required, making minor adjustments to the features in the output of an APT process.
  • Modifying signal levels

Warp Process Details

There are now three methods for manual Time and Pitch Warping audio in Revoice Pro.

  • The Warp Region process - in which the adjustments are made in same track as the input audio Region and the adjusted output is heard replacing the input.
  • The Warp process - which can be any length, from part of one region to spanning multiple regions. The output of the Warp process is sent to a designated output track where the adjustments are made. The input track is left unchanged.
  • The output of an APT process can also be manually adjusted with the same functions.
  • In addition, Time Warp Points can be added to any input or output signal to make timing adjustments.

A powerful advantage of keeping time and pitch adjustments within Revoice Pro 3 is that any additional time and/or pitch changes to Guide or Input tracks will be passed automatically into the outputs of all processes using these inputs. So dependant audio tracks will always be in time and in sync instantly.
