MAXON has announced their presenters for this years NAB.  With a line up of over 20 speakers like Nick Campbell, Athanasios Pozantzis, Julia Siemón, EJ Hassenfratz and many more, this is sure to be an entertaining and informative NAB.

MAXON NAB 2017 Presenter Lineup

Nick Campbell
Nick Campbell worked at Digital Kitchen as an animator and a photographer where he made TV commercials and title sequences. He also founded an iPhone App company called BananaCameraCo and a motion design education and product site called Greyscalegorilla. Nick has recently been speaking to students and creatives about how to be creative and get paid to do what you love.

EJ Hassenfratz
EJ Hassenfratz is a multi-Emmy winning freelance 3D/motion graphic artist based out of Washington, DC. Working in Cinema 4D for the past 6 years, he has collaborated with numerous clients such as ESPN, NHL's LA Kings & Washington Capitals, Nike's Street League Skateboarding, Comcast, Nat Geo, ABC, and the Smithsonian. He is also a author creating courses utilizing Cinema 4D.

John LePore
John LePore has been working in the motion graphics industry since 2003, and has had the pleasure of collaborating with many fine studios before finding a nice fit amongst an incredibly talented team at PerceptionNYC.

Barton Damer
Barton Damer is a motion designer and digital artist who founded the design and motion graphics studio, - a boutique studio that has created a variety of design, motion graphics and 3D animated content for some of the most iconic brands in the world including Nike, Vans, Star Wars, Harry Potter and Marvel Comics.

Andy Needham
Andy is a freelance motion designer, editor and compositor based in London. He's been working in the industry since graduating in 2004 and during that time has built up a number of skills in professional compositing and editing applications. He loves this industry – there is so much to learn and the challenges and experiences are different on a daily basis.

Athanasios Pozantzis - Noseman
Thanassis has been using digital imaging software since 1985, 3D since 1988 and Maxon Cinema 4D for the last 20 years. He is a huge fan of the German crafted software. Having worked behind the scenes for UK based Advertising agencies for 8 years, he landed in Canada in 2013, compliments of his wife, to experience "3D in the freezer." He's proud to be the first Maxon Certified Instructor in Canada. He also won a Grand Epica in 2005.

Chris Schmidt
Chris is the Director of 3D Product Development at Greyscalegorilla and helps make tutorials. This guy really knows his Cinema 4D, is a great teacher, and is hugely helpful on the technical side of things. His lego collection is probably MUCH bigger than yours.

Lorcan O'Shanahan
Lorcan O'Shanahan is a Vancouver Film School 2012 Grad. Although he was new to the field, his enthusiasm, passion and skills afforded him the opportunity to start his career off before graduation. Lorcan was fortunate enough to work on the stunning cinematics for the Halo 4 followed by Deus Ex which lead to a position as a Motion Graphics artist for the movie Enders Game.

Julia Siemón
Julia Siemón has over 15 years of experience working in Motion graphics as a designer, animator, and director. She is faculty at School of Visual Arts teaching 3D design to senior design students. Julia has worked on award-winning rebrands for Spike, TV Land, and The Weather Channel as well commercial work that included Kind Bar, Mucinex, Yoplait and many more. She likes to garden in between solving design challenges.

Robyn Haddow
Robyn Haddow is a freelance fantasy user interface (FUI) motion graphics artist and designer for film and television. A problem solver dynamo, Robyn’s experience includes upcoming features in the Marvel Universe, Zoo season 3, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. Robyn loves the interactive nature of creating playback graphics as well as being apart of bringing sets to life.

Brett Morris
Brett is a freelance motion graphics designer & director with skills across technical direction, look development and art direction. Now based in Los Angeles, Brett has had the great opportunity to work with top tier design studio Capacity for the past five years as Technical Director. He is driven by the desire to explore challenges with critical thinking, ensuring the artistic integrity is maintained at the highest level.

Patrick Longstreth
Patrick Longstreth is the Visual Effects Supervisor for Adam Ruins Everything on truTV. He began using Cinema 4D over ten years ago as a motion graphics artist for NBC Network News. He then made the transition into live-action visual effects through commercials and independent features.

Devon Ko
Devon Ko is a designer, visual artist, and educator known for her tenacity and upbeat, make-it-happen attitude. Her recent work in 3D includes directing Tweedy’s “Summer Noon” music video and a GIF series exploring childhood fixations. Previously, she was a product designer at Dropbox and the lead designer on Codecademy and Treehouse. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, TIME, and more.

Chad Ashley
Chad Ashley has directed/concepted work that has earned several industry awards including a Design Grand Prix at the Cannes International Creativity Festival. With over 15 years of experience directing animation, Chad has created worlds for many adventurous brands, including Estee Lauder, Budweiser, and Cartoon Network.

Dave Koss
Dave Koss is an Emmy™ Nominated and Telly Award-Winning 2D/3D artist from Dallas, TX. He has specialized in concert graphics for years. He’s traveled with and worked for artists like Deadmau5, The Rock, Oprah, & George Strait. He now runs a commercial production company called Nexus Motion with his business partner Matt Milstead. Dave and Matt also run where they host tutorials and a popular motion graphics podcast.

Eran Stern
Eran Stern is a recognized Adobe expert trainer and a desirable speaker in demand, and as such, he is the author of many poplar video tutorials and training series for, CreativeCOW, Adobe, Artbeats and others. He teaches at local and international conferences like NAB, After Effects World and Adobe Video World and is part of the creative team at Future Media Concepts.

Matt Milstead
Matt Milstead is one part of the duo Brograph. He, along with his business partner Dave Koss, run a Dallas based Motion Design studio call Nexus Motion. Over the past 16 years he's worked for clients including The Rock, Samsung, and his latest project was a 48 hour live streamed collaboration with Deadmau5 for his new touring visuals.

Al Heck
Al Heck runs Renderready, a small production company based in New Mexico that works through a network of highly-talented and specialized freelancers. He does 2D and 3D animation, film, VFX, architectural renderings, web graphics and even game engine development for multiple platforms including iPhone and iPad.

Angie Feret
Angie Feret has been working in Animation, Motion Graphics and Design for 6 years. She studied Film, Television Broadcast, Post production, Animation and Design. Angie mainly works in Animation with 2 Dimensional and 3 Dimensional graphics, with clients including Wendy's, Kraft, and Nokia. She enjoys photo editing in her spare time, and creating digital art pieces.

Perry Harovas
Perry Harovas has 25 years experience in VFX Compositing and 3D animation at all levels. He has been doing match moving since before there was dedicated software to do so, and always finds a way to make the solve work. Perry is an experienced storyteller and director, who understands the needs of the visuals to further the story, and be compelling as well.

Russ Gautier
Russ Gautier is Perception’s video game-playing, sci fi-loving, dog-wrangling Art Director.

Mike Schaeffer
Mike Schaeffer is an art director with the Mill. He approaches projects with a refreshing dose of curiosity, eager to learn new tools. He gets his hands dirty at every collaborative opportunity to create striking work. Over the last 13 years, he’s delivered award-winning rebrands for Nickelodeon, TV Land, and The Weather Channel. His select client list with the Mill includes Rolex, Hearthstone, NFL, Samsung, and Reebok.
