Battle Axe Rubberhose v3.2 – New Simple Bend, Multi Hose

battle axe rubberhose v3.2 update

Battle Axe Rubberhose v3.2 adds a new simple bend tool that can speed up render time by upwards of 50%, and a new Multi Hose option for creating multiple hoses with the same settings.

What’s new in Rubberhose v3.2?

Simple bend

If you don’t need some of the more complex rigging features for a character, or are animating a single limb, the new Simple bend option throws out all the new stuff from the v3 update and can speed up render time by upwards of 50%.

New Simple bend simplified rigging for increased render time:

  • The bend point is always at 50%. The Slide property of a bend point won’t do anything.
  • Only one bend. Adding bend points will be ignored.
  • No Autoflop

Multi hose

Do you find yourself always creating two arms and two legs with the same naming in convention? Or maybe you use Rubberhose for legs and hate having to rename them every time?

It’s now possible to hold the SHIFT key when you click new hose to create predefined number of hoses, already named, with the hose settings.

Changed

  • Removed 3 from the extension name

Fixed

  • Korean language bug preventing the panel from loading correctly

Existing users can download through the extension if they have update check enabled.

Stay flexible. Rig dangerously.

With Battle Axe Rubberhose, rig anything in After Effects. Now with more bends and connections and speed and nesting and possibilities.

Build bendy limbs with a click and set up full characters faster than you ever thought would be possible with Rubberhose.

A bendy line when you need it with visual and bend styling and control over pins and layers for total creative flexibility. Think less about rigging and more about character.
