Update: Avid Pro Tools 2021.10

Avid Pro Tools 2021.10 was released late last week and it has some great new features.

4. Carbon Preamp Control from PT
5. M1 Video Window.  If you’re on an M1 Mac, please find out about the caveat here! From the release notes:

   HD hardware is now supported on Apple silicon based machines when using the 2021.10 HD Driver.
   
   Note: Apple M1 machines can kernel panic if an HDX chassis is disconnected while the computer is on or the computer is put to sleep. To disconnect an HDX chassis safely, the computer must be powered down.
