Freebie: Bounding Box Software Materialize – Image to Material Tool

Bounding Box Software has developed Materialize, a free standalone tool for Windows that allows the user to create PBR materials from images for use in games.  Materialize is free to use under the GPL 3 license.

What is Bounding Box Software Materialize?

Materialize is a stand alone tool for creating materials for use in games from images. You can create an entire material from a single image or import the textures you have and generate the textures you need.

Aside from map generation, Materialize can also seamlessly tile your textures and offers automation of many processes with clipboard commands in xml format.
