Freebie: Imaginando DYLM – Updated with VST3 support and more

Imaginando has updated DYLM (delay monitor) to v2.1.0.  Their free chorus and flanger audio effect now has support for VST 3, and improvements to make it robust and compatible with the future.  Both the product and the update are free.

DYLM

DLYM is a free ‘Delay Modulator’ plugin which produces flanger and chorus style effects using Imaginando’s powerful processing technology.

Taking inspiration from DRC’s chorus effect, DLYM expands on the functionality, and makes it available for DAW applications on PC, Mac and iOS for free!

Whether you’re looking to add just a touch of depth to your sounds or radically change them, DLYM can do both; we’ve even included over 20 presets/patches to get you started.

• 6 time syncable modulation waveforms – Sine, Square, Saw, Triangle, Sample & Hold and Filtered Sample & Hold.

System Requirements

• Mac – Mac OS 11.00 or higher, compatible 64 bit host DAW which supports either AU, VST2 or VST3 plugin format, plus a minimum of 128 Mb of free disk space to install.
• Windows – Windows 10 or higher, compatible 64 bit host DAW which supports VST2 and VST3 plugin format, plus a minimum of 128 Mb of free disk space to install.
• iOS – Requires iOS 14 or higher. At least 65 Mb of free space. AUv3 Audio Unit plugin – requires an AUv3 compatible host app, such as Garageband, Cubasis, BM3 or AUM; Standalone version provided.

What’s new in DYLM v2.1.0?

We’ve just released an update to DLYM, our chorus and flanger audio effect. In addition to improvements behind the scenes, making it more robust and compatible with the future, especially on macOS (with macOS 11 now being the minimum version required) and iOS (requiring iOS 14), we’ve also introduced the VST3 plugin format for use on both Windows and Mac.

Important note: due to low utilization, the AAX plugin version has been deprecated.
