thinkinetic shared some sneak peek videos of the upcoming Pulldownit 6, a shatter and destruction tool for Maya and 3ds Max, which includes several new features and speed increases.
Pulldownit 6 is on the way with new useful features and better performance, specially next release of the plugin will include a new “smart deactivation” method allowing to compute massive destruction scenes between 50% to 4x faster and also removes the jittering of small debris laying on the ground while preserving natural motion of falling fragments.

They added that Pulldownit 6 will be released before the end of the year and v5 license holders will receive a free upgrade to v6.
