Autodesk Flame v2022.1 offers several new features and enhancements including Camera Analysis Manual Track, More Info in the Preview Panel, Motion Vectors Improvements, Improved Blackmagic Design RAW Support, and more.

What’s new in Flame 2022.1?

Camera Analysis Manual Track and Motion Vectors Quality

  • Do a manual 3D track from Camera Analysis to lock on the points you need, and set the quality of the motion vectors to fine tune the speed of the analysis.

Motion Vectors Improvements

  • Improved performances for tools using Motion Vectors maps, and now Motion Vectors clips can be cached.
  • Improved Blackmagic Design RAW Support
  • Import .braw files with a linear gamma curve, fixed 12K CPU decoding issue, DaVinci Intermediate Wide Gamut colour space.

More Features

  • Cache, Keyframe, & Expressions Indicators – Coloured dots clearly shows nodes have keyframes, expressions, or cached frames with coloured dots.
  • More Info in the Preview Panel – The MediaHub Preview panel display more info about a clip resolution, colour space, and the SDK used to decode it.
  • QuickTime Encoding – You can now export clips as QuickTime H.264 10-bit movie files.
  • Tangent Hub UpdateFul – Support for Tangent Hub 1.7.0.1.
  • Timeline Improvements – Select the RGB and matte channels to use, display in OutMatte in the Player, and easily find the batch group that rendered a clip.
