What’s new in RePitch v1.3?

• NEW! Shaper Tool. A completely unique feature for RePitch 1.3, the Shaper Tool enables the user to place ‘shape points’ on a pitch or level trace so they can be manipulated in ways that are difficult to achieve with the RePitch draw tool and also don’t need the note block to the split first like other pitch editing products.
• Improvements to Note Block controls.
  • We have increased the number of parameters that can be edited from a note block by introducing ‘Control Points’ which sit around the note block and enable values to be changed quickly, speeding up user workflow.
  • We have also divided the Note Block into a top section for Pitch controls and the bottom half for Time Warp and Movement controls.
  • Improved time warping is now available in RePitch via the note block, so notes can be lengthened or shortened and the surrounding blocks will adjust accordingly. This is powered by the same technology as our Warp Points tool but made easier and faster to use.
  • Also, selections of one or more note blocks can now be moved horizontally in time which is has been a highly requested feature, and again when a note is moved, surrounding blocks will automatically adjust e.g. a sibilant at the start of a pitch block will move too.
• Modulation and Drift control enhancements. Following user feedback, we’ve updated how RePitch edits pitch modulates and drift to be more in line with best practices.
• Faster processing. If edits are being applied in RePitch to a long signal, we now only process the segment of audio which has been changed, this can significantly speed up processing time.
• Instant Bypass (B) – Bypass is now on a hotkey for easier A / B comparison of before and after processing.
• Level Editing improvements – Notes selected in the pitch view are selected in the level view. Warp Time is available in the level display. Shaper Tool works on the level display. When moving notes the interpolation of transition and ungrouped audio now sounds better. If you cut a note on the pitch display it is also cut on the level display.
• Custom Keyboard Shortcuts. Quick and easy way to set up your own hotkeys and save presets.
• Undo now positions the timeline at the location of the undo, so you can see what undo/redo change was made.
• Option to reset pitch, level, or timing changes separately
• Drift can now be set in a macro
• Several fixes and other small improvements
