Star Wars: The Wood Cut – Animated Short #midweekmotivation

Aharon Rabinowitz used The Force when he created this spectacular stop-motion style 3D animated short, Star Wars: The Wood Cut. Aharon re-imagined some of Star Wars’ most epic scenes as woodcuts. Spectacular!

Okay, maybe it wasn’t the force, but he did use Signal for Cinema 4D from Greyscalegorilla Plus. He also used Cinema 4D and Redshift to render; and Magic Bullet Colorista, from Red Giant Complete for color grading.

On his LinkedIn post, Aharon said that the models were sourced from Sketchfab, and modified for this short. He cites the names of the creators in the credits.

Aharon is now the Head of Marketing at Greyscalegorilla. Previously, he was the Global Head of Digital Experience at Maxon and the Head of Marketing for Red Giant.
