PluralEyes to Enter Limited Maintenance Mode

As of February 1, 2023, PluralEyes will enter limited maintenance mode. Existing users may continue to use the application, however Maxon will no longer be releasing new enhancements. Maxon will continue to provide technical support and critical bug fixes for PluralEyes 2023.0.0 for one year after this announcement. Maxon understands PluralEyes has been a valuable tool and would like to thank PluralEyes users for over a decade of syncing audio and video together with them.

Why is PluralEyes no longer being developed?

PluralEyes pioneered automatically syncing sound, providing video editors with fast and accurate capabilities when limited other options were available. These capabilities are now standard in most modern video editing tools.

What can I use instead of PluralEyes?

Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media Composer all natively include syncing sound by waveform.

Can I still use PluralEyes?

Yes, PluralEyes will still work with the version of host applications at the time of this announcement, and critical bug fixes will continue for one year.

Can I still download PluralEyes?

Downloads of PluralEyes will continue to be available for at least one year.

Will I still have technical support?

Maxon will continue to provide technical support for one year after this announcement.
