Hydraulic Erosion in X-Particles

In today’s Top Tip, Bob Walmsley shapes a realistic mountain range with erosion using the TerraformFX tfErosion filter in X-Particles Hydraulic mode in Cinema 4D. He shows how to layer tfNoise operators to create the base altitude data. Then, he modifies the tfErosion settings, changing the particle count, liquid simulation, and erosion profiles, generating natural-looking eroded channels and areas of silty deposits.
