Mocha Quick Tip: Faster Playback in After Effects 2022
Martin Brennand of Boris FX gives a fast and easy solution for getting Faster Playback in After Effects 2022 with Mocha. Yes, the new Multi-Frame Rendering (MFR) capabilities rock, however, that’s not the only area where you can improve your speeds.
In After Effects Preferences, under Previews, take a look at “Cache Frames When Idle”. To explain, this setting can impact frames being sent to Mocha Pro and the Mocha plugin. Below, Martin explains how to fix this slowdown in Mocha.
