Black Veins Effect From Stranger Things (After Effects Tutorial)

Yannick and Jordy at Cinecom.net have a super fun copycat tutorial explaining how to make the black veins on Billy in Stranger Things. There’s a lot of tracking and null objects involved in this process. He uses the Advanced Lightning Effect to make the veins and masks them on. These are attached to the actor’s arms with Puppet Pins. Clever.
